Introduction
The client is a medium sized accounting practice based out of Birmingham and providing accounting , finance and tax related services to approx 700+ clients. The client worked on QuickBooks ,Xero and SAGE and CCH, some were on cloud and rest were desktop versions.
The Challenge
Client was facing issues to increase capacity. The directors were also looking to standardize TAT to 90 days after year end for their clients.
The Solution
We asked clients to go for cloud base for all of their work. We were provided 2-3 vendors accesses at the start and client was asked to shift larger files to Sapphire initially to take care of processing in their office. We managed to bring the TAT to about 100 days in 5-6 months. With Sapphire taking care of processing, most of the staff at client was moved to client facing position and promoted as client/portfolio managers. The client logged a growth of 40% at the end of 1 st year with Sapphire. We now have 6+ dedicated persons working for the client with extra support during busy season.
